100 Hours of Astronomy!
Our next big event is the 100 Hours of Astronomy (100HA), a cornerstone project of IYA2009, and shall be held on April 2-5, 2009.
There will be events all over the world including lectures, seminars, and stargazing sessions.
The highlight is the 100HA Star Party on April 4-5, 2009 (Saturday night) where astronomy organizations all over the world will hold public telescope viewing sessions.
The global star party aims to have as many people as possible take a look through a telescope on one night.
